The Pick of the Pack
From Central Europe's Studios

The interior designer Judith Hoffman, who left Hungary after the 1956 revolution, has returned often to buy central European arts and crafts from the Secession to the Bauhaus era. This month, she is to open Szalon in Los Angeles to sell Zsolnay ceramics and pieces from Austria, Germany and Hungary, including works by Hungarian designers like Lajos Kozma, creator of buildings and furnishings. Szalon is at 910 North La Cienega Boulevard, Los Angeles, (310) 657-0089.
