Decorators and collectors looking for Modernist Hungarian furniture and art now have a new place to shop – Szalon (pronounced salon), which opened in late June in West Hollywood. It’s founded by designer Judith Hoffman, a Budapest native, who is offering authentic Hungarian works from the Secessionist, Art Deco, and Bauhaus periods (like the circa-1930 Art deco server pictured above) in a glitzy show room. The space will also be used for lectures and exhibitions. Call 310-657-0089.
